CPDM Centre Region: Regional campaign commission hails Bidoung Mkpatt’s mobilisation for Biya.

The Regional Campaign Commission of the CPDM in the Centre has commended the massive mobilisation of supporters in the Upper Sanaga Division by Minister Bidoung Mkpatt.



The positive remarks were made by the Head of the CPDM Regional Campaign Commission for the Centre, Minister Rene Emmanuel Sadi, Thursday.

The CPDM political bureau member who doubles as Minister of Communication was speaking in Nkoteng in the Upper Sanaga Division. This was during the launch of the divisional campaign in the administrative unit. 

Minister Rene Sadi said the efforts put in by Minister Bidoung Mkpatt, aimed at securing landslide victory for President Biya are worth commending. 

The event, attended by the elite of Upper Sanaga Division including Prof Marie Thérèse Abena Ondoa, Hon Hilarion Etong, Bernard Messengue Avom and many others, also served as a working session with the head of the CPDM Regional Campaign Commission boss to better strategise ways to guarantee the victory of the CPDM candidate. 

In his keynote address, Minister René Sadi praised Minister Bidoung Mkpatt for laying the necessary groundwork for the victory of CDPM candidate. 

“Mobilisation is the trademark of Bidoung Mkpatt, I salute you for your continuous efforts,” Minister Rene Sadi stated, while expressing delight to, as a son of the Upper Sanaga, launch the campaign ahead of the October 12 poll in the area. 

“I will personally inform the National President of our party, President Paul Biya, that Upper Sanaga is 100% behind him,” Minister Rene Sadi said, affirming that President Biya has a special relationship with the Upper Sanaga. 

“President Paul Biya is an honourary son of Upper Sanaga, a division that is so special to him. I am not here to convince you, but to confirm your unwavering support,” Minister Rene Sadi stated.

In his address, the Head of the CPDM Divisional Campaign Commission, Minister Bidoung Mkpatt, conveyed the gratitude of the Upper Sanaga population to President Biya for the consistent solicitude he has shown towards sons and daughters of the Division.

He also extended sincere thanks to the First Lady, Chantal Biya, whom he described as the "prestigious first elite of Upper Sanaga", for her enduring interest in the development of the Division and wellbeing of its populations.

“Upper Sanaga is fully aware of the stakes and the socio-economic and political importance of the October 12 election for national development. Upper Sanaga remains faithful and loyal to the republican institutions and to the one who embodies them, His Excellency Paul Biya,” Minister Bidoung Mkpatt stated. 

He was categorical that: “We will vote massively for our champion, the candidate of reason, the candidate of the heart. We will ensure a memorable victory for him with an exceptional turnout, serving as an example of fidelity, loyalty, and dynamic engagement”.

Minister Bidoung Mkpatt assured the regional campaign team that Upper Sanaga is committed to brilliantly securing victory for President Biya.

“Upper Sanaga, yesterday, today and tomorrow, has had and will have only one watchword: 'Total confidence and unconditional support for His Excellency Paul Biya, our legitimate, statutory candidate, the candidate of the heart, the candidate of reason’,” he affirmed.

Minister Bidoung Mkpatt said Upper Sanaga firmly maintains the conviction that President Biya “possesses the necessary experience, maturity, and wisdom to lead” the CPDM to victory.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for communal campaign teams from the seven Subdivisions of Upper Sanaga to present their campaign roadmap.
