The Subdivisional campaign head for CPDM in Meme IC, Kumba III Subdivision, Dr Mukwelle Nguba Isaac, has challenged the people of Mambanda not to waste their votes on opposition parties that they will never see after the election.

Dr Mukwelle Nguba who doubles as Mayor of Kumba III Council made the rallying call in Mambanda on Monday, September 29, during the launching of campaigns.



This was in the presence of the Divisional Officer, DO, for Kumba III, Ngale Alfred Meede, the Section president for Meme IC, Barrister Ebanja Victorine, and a cross section of the CPDM supporters drawn from the all the nocks and crannies of the Subdivision.

Addressing the supporters Dr Nguba, a British trained pharmacist, stressed that aligning with President Biya is the best thing for the people of Kumba III.

He mentioned boom in cocoa prices, the prompt payment of salaries of workers of the Cameroon Development Corporation, CDC, majority of whom are in Kumba III municipality, the tarring of the Kumba-Mamfe Road, the construction of the headquarters of the Sixth Rapid Intervention Battalion, BIR, unit in Mambanda among the achievements that the Subdivision has had under Biya. 

He said more will undoubtedly come if the population continues throwing their weight behind the New Deal government.

Mayor Nguba also encouraged the population to retrieve their voters’ card at the different offices of ELECAM so as to be ample ready for the voting day. 

Speaking earlier, the Section President of CPDM Meme IC, Barrister Ebanja Victorine, reminded the population of the huge benefits they have enjoyed under the CPDM party. 

She hailed the boom in Cocoa prices, rehabilitation of the Kumba-Tombel-Loum Road, the rehabilitation of some schools, donation of potable water to the people of Teke community, employment of sons and daughters of the CPDM party into post of responsibility among key reasons why the population have to renew the mandate of President Biya. 

The Subdivisional launching came after the regional launching in Buea. Traditional rulers, dance groups at the close of the campaign held a campaign march for President Biya and a motion of support towards the election which was read by comrade Tabot Henry Atungu.
