He said the campaign team in Nguti has engaged door-to-door campaign to mobilise all the 10,000 available votes for President Paul Biya in Nguti.

"The foundation has already been laid…we are here to consolidate victory. The various clan heads will continue with the door- to- door campaign to grab all the 10,000 votes for our champion President Paul Biya," Okie boasted.

For his part, CPDM section President for the Kupe-Muanenguba II, Ajang Evaristus said the ceremony was a reminder that President Biya remains the only choice for Nguti.

He also said: "We are witnesses to that fact that the ceremony went well. This is just a continuation of the several operations that we have been carrying out…we have been in the field and the message is that the whole Kupe Muanenguba is behind President Paul Biya".

Taking the cue during Saturday’s rally in Nguti, the head of the CPDM campaign team for Kupe Muanenguba, Prof Elvis Ngolle Ngolle urged supporters of the party in the area to cast their votes for Biya.

Many developmental projects have come to Ngute and many are still to come. With this assurance, we know that it is a guarantee that President Paul Biya is getting 120% of the votes at Nguti," he said at the rally.
