The Section President of CPDM Mezam II Section, Santa, Mbah Shupong Michael, described President Biya as a candidate with much experience.

Shupong said amongst the 12 candidates, Biya is a man of experience who has a humble personality and who always keeps to his promises. He cited an avalanche of projects President Biya has carried out in Santa Subdivision amongst for the benefit of all.

He mentioned the construction of the Women's Empowerment Centre and the construction of the Bamenda-Babadjou Road among others.  "We in Santa are so inspired with the Bamenda-Babadjou Road project which has so far helped to facilitate movement," he said.

On his part, Ntumfor Fru Jonathan, a CPDM elite in Santa Subdivision highlighted that they are focusing only on those who have their electoral cards. He said victory is only recorded at the polling station and not in the rally.

"We have to ensure that parties are well represented at the polling stations, and also to ensure that our electorate are well taken care of in order to be able to defend our victory," he said.

Fru Jonathan equally noted that the incumbent President Biya is the best candidate because of his balance sheet in terms of development in the education, health and infrastructure sectors.

"Paul Biya has much to offer in the future. Cameroonians have a bright future with president Biya. Considering the past, present and future, there is no best candidate that president Paul Biya," he said.

In her speech, the WCPDM Section President, Fonkwa Judith Siri nee Teneng, urged the women to empower their community, their children, husbands and those around them to vote for their candidates.

She urged the women to be the role models to demonstrate that voting is not just a right but a responsibility.

"Let them see us engaged in the democratic process showing them our voice, training them that our voices matter a lot in changing the narratives," she said.

The YCPDM Mezam II Section President, Tandong Iris Zoum, said there is no candidate amongst the 12 who is as experienced like President Paul Biya.

"We are voting President Biya because he is the most experienced candidate. There is no candidate that matches his experience. Other candidates are building on fallacy, while our candidate is that with tangible achievements," Tandong said.
