World celebrates Pastor Chris at 62.

The founder of the Believers LoveWorld, BLW, Incorporated popularly known the world over as Christ Embassy, was honoured in different forms and words by leaders of nations, Christians and those whose lives he has impacted and continues to impact.

Several personalities, among them the renowned Pastor Benny Hinn, flew from his base in the United States of America, to live this yesterday’s celebration of Pastor Chris’ impactful life in Lagos, Nigeria.

Pastor Chris was treated to a royal celebration, with gold and other colours that speak dignity; screaming reference and glory to God for the gift of a spiritual leader of his standing and weight.

When difference calls for celebration

The extraordinary blessing Pastor Chris has been to the world is among the many reasons millions continue to be endeared to his teachings, healing and deliverance.

Across the world yesterday, Pastor Chris was praised for his known culture of consistent excellency and shinning leadership of the professional architect, whom he is, shaking the world to the glory of God and raising giants in the countries of the world.

How God has been using Pastor Chris to touch lives and his commitment in preaching the undiluted word of God, continue to reverberate the world over.

Through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Chris has been a life coach, a prophet, teacher, pathfinder and counsellor to nations and the world in general.

The distance Pastor Chris has covered this far, when it comes to executing the will of God, shows the intensity of God’s presence in his life. For humanity and the body of Christ, Pastor Chris has a legacy that will serve generations yet unborn.

True reflection of God’s love

Speaking during a church service yesterday, Apostle Prof Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries said: “I want to celebrate the life of a man, our highly esteemed Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Dsc, DD on the occasion of his birthday. 

“…And we love him. Thank You Sir for what you are doing around in the nations of the world. Thank You for being a true reflection of the love of God. Thank you for being a true representation of working with the Holy Spirit, of excellence, consistency and the great preparation of the coming of Christ”.

For Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Pastor Chris “…is a blessing to our generation” and “is helping us experience what it means to be victories and purposeful in Christ”.

Bebe Angel, wife of Prophet Ubert Angel, who joined her husband to attend the event, said Pastor Christ “…is a force that creation recognises”. 

In her message, Bebe said the revert man of God “…is a steward of divine secrets, a dispenser of Heavenly wisdom and a commander of in the spirit, whose impact will echo long after generations”.

In this respect, he was commended for changing the lives of millions of people the world over through the efficacy of the gospel and his charitable works. 

Others prayed God to keep him strong, healthy and give him more years to continue to inspire humanity and preach the gospel in season and out of season.

Birthday feast start of month-long events 

Pastor Chris’ birthday- every December 7, always ushers Christ Embassy into a season of unending events that culminate in the traditional crossover night into a new year.

Though announcements are still being awaited in this light, his tradition has always been among others to host special events such as: Special Christmas Service; LoveWorld International Music and Arts Award, LIMA; LoveWorld Specials; Christmas Eve Service on December 24; New Year Eve Service on December 31 and the fame Future African Leaders Awards, FALA. The event always attracts global leaders, among them former Heads of State.

Pastor Chris’ matchless benevolence 

 Pastor Chris, through the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International, COFI, has brought relief to several communities in all the continents of the world.

This, many have always said, testifies of his relevance, not only in the spiritual realm but as a Goodwill Ambassador for humanity.

COFI, which has become the philanthropic arm of Christ Embassy, has become a global institution, providing relief to the vulnerable, healthcare and education among others. It has constructed not just schools in several underserved communities but also erected structures for those with special needs.

The Christ Embassy founder is also known for his powerful use of technology to reach people across the globe; in addition to the LoveWorld TV network and social media platforms. Through this, he has taken the message of salvation to the homes of millions and administered healing, especially during special programs such as Healing Streams.

His daily devotional, Rhapsodies of Realities, is fondly often described as God’s messenger angel to millions of homes the world over, reaching billions. It is one of the world’s most read publications having been translated into hundreds of languages.

Pastor Chris has made Rhapsody of Realities a foundation for spiritual growth and nourishment. Many have encountered Christ through the publication.

Grooming leaders after God’s heart

 The Future African Leaders’ Awards, FALA, has, thanks to Pastor Chris, become an event that rewards outstanding young people, especially in service to communities. 

Former Presidents of nations and leaders of different fields of life, have always attended the event. Pastor Chris sees FALA as a way of raising the next generation of leaders who are committed to the wellbeing of humanity.

In 2023, it was a Cameroonian, Lebsy Lebaga, a student doctor at the University of Buea, who clinched the Gold Prize, worth tens of millions.

Snippet of God’s General

The President of LoveWorld Incorporated, Pastor Chris, did not stumble into doing God’s will. His is a vision that has been alive since his teenage days, running through his education among other engagements.

Born on December 7, 1963, the native of Edo State in Nigeria, with given name, Christian Oyakhilome, studied architecture at the Bendel State University in the town of Ekpoma. 

The institution was later renamed Ambrose Ali University. He is the third child in a family of seven. 

While in the university, he founded a Youth Ministry, named “Youth For Christ.” He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1987 and opened a church in the Edo State capital city of Benin. He later moved to Lagos, where he founded Believers LoveWorld aka Christ Embassy in 1989.

Today, the church is found across the continents of the globe, with campus fellowships in major higher institutions in nations such as the United States of America, USA; Ghana, United Kingdom, UK; South Africa and Canada.

Pastor Chris later advanced his studies, holding several doctors of philosophies, PhD certificates in Divinity and Science. He also has several honourary PhDs.
