CCA Bank sharpens strategy to serve growing Chinese client base.

One of the leading financial institutions in the country, CCA Bank, has deepened its engagement with the Chinese business community in Cameroon. 

The bank on November 30, unveiled tailored financial services for Chinese operators in the country. 



This was during the inauguration of the second session of the Police-Community Center in Douala.

The event drew close to 260 participants from across the economic and institutional landscape. It brought together business leaders, economic operators, senior officials, and prominent members of the Chinese community, to mark a moment of cooperation between Cameroon and China.

CCA Bank was represented by a high‑level delegation led by the General Manager, Marguerite Atanga. She was joined by Commercial Director, Ariane Nkemla; China Desk Head, Martha Aaime; Akwa Branch Manager, Tabu, and Communications Officer; Emmanuela Nyoki.

 

Banking solutions tailored for growing community

The head of CCA Bank’s China Desk, Martha Aaime, in her keynote address, detailed the bank’s role in supporting Chinese enterprises and residents operating in Cameroon. 

Before outlining the bank’s specialised services designed for Chinese clients, Aaime commended the contribution of the Chinese community to economic activity in the country.

According to her, the bank’s China Desk team includes an operational team fluent in Chinese and trained to provide fast, secure, and personalised assistance. 

She detailed a portfolio of financial solutions including international transfers, global collections, customs clearance support, letters of credit, and instant C‑CASH transfers.

CCA Bank also showcased its Classic and Platinum VISA cards, accepted worldwide, as part of its offer to facilitate seamless financial operations for Chinese customers. The presentation received strong applause from attendees.

According to CCA Bank, the China Desk will continue to expand Sino‑Cameroonian financial exchanges as well as strengthen the trust of its Chinese partners. 

The institution added that its presence at the Douala event reaffirmed its commitment to providing tailored and innovative services aligned with the needs of the rapidly expanding community. 

The event further positioned the bank as a key partner for Chinese businesses in Cameroon, reinforcing its role in supporting economic cooperation between the two countries.

 

Cultural displays 

The event was opened with the national anthems of Cameroon and China, followed by speeches from President Weng Mingfa, the Director General of Police, and Vice-President Long Hai. 

The ceremony featured Chinese cultural showcases, including artistic and martial arts demonstrations, and the presentation of appointment letters to newly designated members of the Police-Community Center Council.
