Tomaino receiving befitting welcome from population of Bangourain

The presidential candidate of the Cameroon Democratic Union, CDU party, at the 2025 presidential election, Hermine Patricia Tomaïno Ndam Njoya, is set to stage a mega rally in Foumban, West Region, today.

The event is to woo supporters and rally them behind the President of the CDU to ensure a landslide victory for the party during the October 12 presidential poll.

The mega rally is expected to bring together militants of the party and supporters from the nock and crannies of the West Region.

According to Tomaino Ndam Njoya, the rally will be an occasion to “seal the pact” and take a bold step towards rewriting history as she eyes victory in the poll.

Tomaino makes strong showing in Foumbot…

Speaking during the rally in Foumbot, Tomaino Ndam Njoya thanked the population for their warm reception.

The presidential candidate said she draws inspiration from the courage and loyalty of the population in her quest to become the next president of the republic after the elections this weekend.

“…Today, I am home with you. I have come to remind the entire nation that Foumbot is not waiting for change: Foumbot has embodied it since 1991. You have always stood firm on the side of truth, progress and justice,” she told the population.

Tomaino added that: “I know that on October 12, every son and daughter of Foumbot will defend the path of true change and vote for the CDU”.

In Kouoptamo, the no-nonsense politician shared her ideas, values, and ambition, which she said was that of a united, just and prosperous Cameroon.

“This is the land of my childhood, where I felt the same thirst for change that drives our entire country. Our fight is for justice, renewed confidence and dignity for every Cameroonian,” Tomaino told the population.

Elsewhere in Bangourain, Tomaino preached unity, reconciliation and pleaded for the population to return home.

It is worth mentioning that Tomaino Ndam Njoya has been galvanising grassroot support in the West region since the start of the week.

This comes after the CDU party president successfully staged crowd pulling rallies in other regions including the Centre, Littoral and South Regions.

The West Region, and the Noun Division in particular, is the stronghold of the CDU party. Over the years, the party stood out during elections in the region and are looking to maintain the status quo.
