At campaign rally in Bamenda: Jean Nkuete delivers Biya’s message of hope to population.

The Secretary General of the Central Committee of the ruling CPDM party, Jean Nkuete, has delivered incumbent President Paul Biya’s message of hope to the population of Bamenda and the North West Region.

This was during a campaign rally in Bamenda Sunday. 



The meeting was chaired by Jean Nkuete, who doubles as CPDM National Campaign Coordinator.

Also present during the rally were hundreds of supporters and party bigwigs like the President of the Campaign Committee for the North West Region, Philemon Yang, Mezam Divisional Committee President, Minister Mbayu Felix, and others.

The ceremony opened with a welcome address by the Mezam Divisional Committee President, Minister Mbayu Felix. 

He assured the Secretary General that Mezam in particular and the North West Region in general is galvanizing to give President Biya and the CPDM 100% vote come October 12.

 

Biya’s greatness, hope message

 

During the rally, the President of the National Campaign Commission, Jean Nkuete, outlined some of the projects envisioned in Biya’s mandate of “Greatness and Hope”, which are beneficial to the population of the North West Region.

According to Nkuete, greatness and hope have always been the fundamental principles which the CPDM political party has been functioning on for the past decades.

Nkuete assured the population of the Region that major economic projects which were interrupted due to the armed conflict in the North West and South West Regions.

While urging the population to massively vote President Biya come October 12, Nkuete noted that “hope” in the campaign slogan of the CPDM determines the return of peace in the North West and South West Regions. He revealed that it is one of Biya’s priorities in his next mandate.

While noting that Biya will lead Cameroon to greatness and hope in his mandate, Jean Nkuete told CPDM supporters that great things can only follow those who have interest in the State.

Contrasting in leadership, impact and development, Nkuete used the likes of John Ngu Foncha, and Solomon Tandeng Muna, whom to him, worked for greater things for the North West Region.

The CPDM scribe saluted Philemon Yang, outgone President of the 79th United Nations General Assembly, for his outstanding achievements during his tenure. 

He also praised the various campaign teams in the Region, as he urged them to continue in the same spirit.

 

Enter Philemon Yang

 

The President of the Campaign Committee for the North West Region, Philemon Yang, updated the national campaign coordinator on what he and his team in the North West have accomplished so far. 

Yang revealed that so far, the team has launched communal campaigns in all areas in Mezam Division, Ndop, Wum, Mbengwi, Tubah, Santa and other Divisions. He added that other areas still lacking behind will be done in the days ahead.

Yang added that all supporters in the North West Region are determined and ready to vote the CPDM on October 12. 

The event was spiced with the donation of a 60-seater bus to The University of Bamenda, by Jules François, businessman and strong supporter of the CPDM party.

While officially handing the bus to Prof Theresia Nkuo Akenji, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bamenda, UBa, Jules François noted that it is a gift to the students. The benefactor said it will help learners during field trips and official ceremonies.
