October 12 poll: Santa CPDM raises 23 million FCFA for Biya's campaign.

Officials and supporters of the ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement, CPDM, party in Santa Subdivision, Mezam Division of the North West Region, have raised the sum of 23 million FCFA to support the campaign of their party flag bearer and National President, Paul Biya, at the October 12 presidential election.



The exercise took place under the patronage of the Section President of CPDM Mezam II Section, Santa, Mbah Shupong Michael. The fundraising was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

After raising the amount, party supporters present also took the engagement to contribute more in the coming days to boost Biya's campaign at the grassroots.

Renowned Yaounde-based businessman, CPDM support mobiliser, Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf, alongside the Mezam II CPDM Section President, Shupong Michael, stole the show at the event.

They both rally supporters in mobilising finances to fund the re-election bid of their political role model and party champion, the incumbent Head of State, Paul Biya.

After headlining fundraising under the banner of the North West CPDM in Yaounde, on August 30, Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf took the same spirit to his native Santa Subdivision.

Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf, who is President Director General, PDG, of Merdolf Sarl, rallied Santa CPDM was the Chief Launcher of the fundraising exercise that took place in Santa. 

Organisers said the goal was to raise more funds for grassroots campaigns for incumbent Head of State, Paul Biya.

Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf led the donation with five million FCFA. Besides the amount, the respected businessman mobilised several other businesspersons who he has groomed in business over the years to bolster the Santa campaign fund purse for the October 12 election.

Other contributions came in from: the Section President, Mbah Shupong, who contributed two million FCFA; Kendem John Forghab, Deputy General Manager of the Autonomous Sinking Fund, CAA, donated two million FCFA. CPDM Central Committee Secretariat Charge de Mission, Fru Jonathan, chipped in 500,000 FCFA.

 

Ntum-Kwifon Che Linifolf’s matchless consistency

The five million FCFA of last Saturday which Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf contributed adds to the eight million FCFA he contributed at the Regional level for the same purpose. The said North West Regional fund-drive took place in Yaounde on August 30, 2025. 

The man who has been contributing consistently to support CPDM party activities and the Head of State’s campaign’s since 2002, said he believes in the ideals of the party and Biya.

He reiterated that the fundraising at the local level in Santa, last Saturday, wherein he served as Chief Launcher, was to ensure that come October 12, Santa population massively votes to re-elect President Biya.

The Merdolf Sarl PDG described President Paul Biya as a national champion who deserves every form of support to continue leading the nation.

Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf told those in attendance that his donation and that from his business sons is “a four-wheel drive to ensure we get that victory, come October 12, 2025”. 

To note that besides leading campaign donations at the level of the North West Region and Santa Subdivision, from where he hails, Ntum-Kwifon Che Linidolf is also member of the national logistics commission of the CPDM national campaign team.     

 

Fru Jonathan on victory strategies 

Besides the raising of 23 million FCFA, Santa CPDM also strategised on how to deliver 100 percent victory for President Paul Biya. 

An elite of the administrative unit, Fru Jonathan, who is Deputy General Manager of the National Mining Corporation, SONAMINES, delivered a lecture on campaign strategy to ensure a landslide victory for Biya, come October 12.

Participants saluted the lecture as having set the tone for Santa’s renewed resolve to stay steady in supporting President Biya.
