Eyumema, loosely translated as the voice of a mother, is a grouping of Manyu women, in the South West Region, who are spread all over the world.

Another candidate for the Eyumema top job, Stella Elokobi's 95 votes, were not enough to hand her the enviable position.

The highly contested and electrified elections were staged in Denver, Colorado, USA; on July 26, 2025.

Addressing her visibly-jubilant folk, after emerging winner, the usually humble and publicity-shy Diana Ebai, took time off to thank them for the confidence bestowed on her.

She promised an open-door policy, whereby all Eyumema members; irrespective of their academic and social standing, will be given a place on the decision table.

She equally extended an olive branch, "...even to those who did not agree with my vision or vote for me."

She also took the firm commitment to continue strengthening the existing systems, while building better platforms for unity and elaborating on current projects that are of urgent need and prime importance to the Manyu man.

Widely saluted for her philanthropy, selflessness, results-oriented nature, and dynamism, Ebai said one of the priorities of her tenure will be beginning what she called "the down-payment for the new generation of Manyu girl child, through scholarship".
