2025 presidentials: Far North youth urged Biya to seek re-election.

This appeal was emphatically echoed during a press conference held in Maroua, which serves as a forerunner to a grand show of support for President Paul Biya in a massive ceremony scheduled to take place in Maroua on May 10, 2025.

Speaking at the press conference, Mohamadou Atikou Kalda, President of the platform, urged youths not to shy away from politics but rather to be proactive and enroll on the electoral register. "We want to empower youths to be seen, heard, and to thrive. This can only happen with their active participation," Atikou Kalda emphasised. He added that the initiative will not only benefit youths but the entire population of the Far North region, and therefore, they should rally behind the President.

Atikou also revealed that they have an ambitious plan to mobilise up to 1 million youths behind President Paul Biya at the May 10 event, which will be held under the patronage of the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Right Honorable Cavaye Yeguie Djibril. 

During the upcoming ceremony, didactic and agricultural materials will also be distributed to youths to boost their productivity in agriculture.
