October 12 poll: How Boma Donatus seduced Santa village to massively vote Biya.

Sons and daughters Santa village in Santa Subdivision were unanimous to massively vote for the candidate of the ruling CPDM party in the presidential election which held nationwide and, in the diaspora, yesterday.



They took the commitment during a campaign rally which their elite and CPDM Campaign head for Santa, held in the community on the eve of voting on October 11. He was joined in the launching by elite and the traditional rulers of Santa village.

Boma Donatus who is Interim General Manager of the Investment Promotion Agency, IPA, had used the campaign rally to present in synopsis, the importance of massively voting to renew the mandate of the Head of State.

He told his brothers and sisters that Santa owes President Biya a lot with the numerous projects that have been carried out in the area for their benefit.  

Boma said aside appointing children of Santa village to strategic positions, President Biya has carried out construction projects in the domains of roads, schools, hospitals, and community development women's centre.

"We are sure of the candidate we are going to vote. We are proud of what he has done in our village. We have had numerous appointments in this village and so many developments projects," he said.

Boma told the population that a vote President Biya is a vote to a father, a friend whom they can trust to move them from one step to another. He sounded upbeat that Santa village will secure a hundred percent victory for candidate Biya. 

"Our militants are well prepared, they have their voting cards with them and they are ready to go and give the president a landslide victory,” he said.

On their part, CPDM Santa village Subsection President, Prince Sule Mohammadu, said Santa village should vote for Paul Biya because of the numerous projects that he has carried out in the area. 

He mentioned that the CPDM government under President Biya has consolidated national unity and is relentless fighting to guarantee peace which is the prerequisite to development. Prince Sule added that the population of Santa village is 100% ready to vote for their candidate. 

"We are 100% sure because of the turnout of the population to the campaign of today, and the enthusiasm amongst them to the various speeches,” he said.

On his part, the CPDM Youth President of Santa village, Lopeze Elvis, urged the young people to vote for President Biya because he is the only one that can bring the change that they want. 

"He has brought change in the past seven years, so let's give him another seven years to continue the change,” Lopeze said.
