Centre Region: Upper Sanaga CPDM boss, Bidoung Mkpatt, empowers campaign teams.

Minister Bidoung Mkpatt mobilising Upper Sanaga for Biya

The President of the CPDM Upper Sanaga Divisional Campaign Commission for the October 12 presidential election, Minister Bidoung Mkpatt, has officially empowered the divisional campaign team with essential logistics to canvass votes for the party’s flagbearer, President Paul Biya.

This was during an event at the Nanga-Eboko Council Hall yesterday. The gathering, chaired by Minister Bidoung Mkpatt, focused on evaluating the collection and allocation of contributions for the upcoming presidential election at the grassroots.

The meeting, organisers said, was to facilitate the deployment of campaign teams to all the areas to lay the groundwork for President Biya’s landslide victory in the upcoming poll.

They further clarified that the initiative follows the directives issued during a September 23 event by the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPDM, Jean Nkuete.

The directives, it was stated, include the full inclusion of all party supporters to make the campaign a genuine moment of national communion and the strict adherence to a rigorous methodology for organising rallies to ensure visibility, efficiency, and discipline.

Speaking at the event, the President of the Divisional Coordination Commission, underscored the critical importance of the election.

“The victory of the CPDM depends on rigorous organisation, exemplary discipline and the total mobilisation of all vital forces. Every executive and militant must assume their duty of solidarity and their voluntary contribution to the collective effort,” Minister Bidoung Mkpatt said.

He added that the party’s watchword, “‘Total mobilization for the resounding victory of President Paul Biya’, must translate into a massive and disciplined turnout of voters at the polls”.

All communal and Divisional officials made took a commitment to relentlessly continue awareness-raising, supervision and mobilization efforts until election day.

The Communal President of Nanga-Eboko, who also serves as the Division’s Chargé de Mission, Romain Roland Eto'o, stated that the event was an opportunity to provide each president of the communal campaign commission with the necessary facilities and resources for effective field deployment.

“Monday, September 29, will mark the official launch of the campaign in all council areas of Upper-Sanaga, in accordance with the national schedule. The divisional campaign tour will then take place from October 6 to October 11,” he noted.

Through the activities, Upper Sanaga has reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to the CPDM and its commitment to the vision of the Head of State.

United in solidarity, the supporters and elite of the Division expressed their readiness to ensure a massive participation in the October presidential election.

They also used the event to pledge their commitment to uphold the ideals of peace, unity and progress cherished by the nation.
