October 12 election: Presidential candidate, Hiram Samuel, to downside gov't if elected.

This was during an exclusive interview on TikTok with popular Cameroonian Tiktoker, Celeste Victorien. 

As per the politician, the government is unnecessarily bloated, inefficient and costly.

During the almost two hours of exchange on the platform, Hiram Samuel unveiled his projects if he is elected as the President of Cameroon. 

An online survey, carried out by the politician brought to the limelight essential problems from citizens.

“The primary objective is to restore balance by reducing the size of the country’s Government in order to build and manage government action,” Hiram said. 

He is proposing a strategic overhaul of the government’s structure, aiming to cut down from more than 63 ministries and related positions to about 20 ministries. 

The gaol is to consolidate portfolios, eliminate redundancy and redirect public funds into private sectors.

“Too many ministries kill public action. By reducing the size on the government, we free up billions for education, health, roads and youth entrepreneurship,” Hiram added. 

The proposed restructuring, he noted, will consolidate overlapping ministries and eliminate non-essential roles, freeing up critical financial resources to invest in education and others. 

The initiative, he added, reflects his broader vision for a modern, sovereign and impact-driven Cameroon, one built on efficiency, transparency and public services. 

Born in August 1987 in Douala, Hiram Samuel is a candidate in Cameroon’s October 2025 presidential election under the banner of the MP3. 

A young leader educated in Quebec, Canada, he embodies a bold, reform-driven political vision focused on sovereignty as proposed in his program. 

In 2011 during the fiftieth anniversary of the independence of Cameroon, he published “My youthful Dream: Cameroon for the next 50 years”.

The work had to project his vision for Cameroon by 2060 and the starting point for his involvement in the public arena. 

In 2018, Hiram was one of the members and pillar of President Akere Muna’s campaign in the presidential election. 

Since then, he has been considered in the national media as one of the main political leaders under 40.  

In December 2024, Hiram officially created his political project called “Le Kontinent Debout!”, the Kontinent rising, which brings up a 12-point plan to completely restructure the Cameroon’s institution, end the resilience on foreign monetary system and strengthen local governance.
