Ahead of AFRIGROUP Soccer tournament: CCA Bank pulls draw with All Star Grand Hangar in friendly.

The men’s football team of Crédit Communautaire d’Afrique, CCA Bank, has pulled a 1-1 draw with All Star Grand Hangar in a friendly match.



The friendly game, involved the team of one of Cameroon’s outstanding and customer-friendly financial institutions, CCA, at the Lycée Bilingue de Bonaberi in Douala, last weekend.

The CCA Bank team used the match to finetune their strategies and get set for an upcoming competition, dubbed AFRIGROUP Soccer Tournament.

The test game was an opportunity for Coach Gankou Thierry Fouapon to see how ready his team is prior to the tournament, scheduled to take place in the country’s economic capital, Douala.

In an exciting display of skill and determination, CCA Bank’s football team played an electrifying draw against the All Star team.

The team showcased their prowess on the field, proving that their talents extend beyond the banking world.

Team captain, Bill Nkemla, led by example, inspiring his teammates to push through a challenging game that saw both sides battling hard to the very end. 

The match was a true testament to the dedication and versatility of the CCA Bank team.

The friendly match served as an excellent warm-up and a confidence booster as they continue to prepare for their next big challenge.

In the upcoming regional finals of the AFRIGROUP SOCCER tournament, CCA Foundation FC will face off against CCA Bourse.

The finals are scheduled to take place on Saturday August 31, 2024, offering another opportunity for CCA Bank’s team to shine. 

 

 

About the financial institution

Known today as CCA Bank, the financial institution was created in Bafoussam in July 1997, following Law N° 92/2006 of 14 August 1992; related to Cooperatives and Common Initiative Groups.

Following Decree n° 90/445/PM of 23/11/1992, Crédit Communautaire d’Afrique-Bank S.A, abbreviated CCA S.A, effectively kicked off its activities in 1998 in the form of a Savings and Loan Cooperative.

Twenty years (20) after its creation, the institution obtained its approval as a bank in 2018, under Decree N° 000405/MINFI. It was transformed from a 2nd Category Microfinance into a universal bank.
