For distinguished community service: Biya knights Senator Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri again.

North West Governor affixing medal on Senator Prof Nebah

For her distinguished services to her community in particular, and Cameroon in general, the Head of State, President Paul Biya, has again knighted the member of the Senate, representing the North West Region and from Mezam Division, Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri. The President of the Republic accorded to Prof Nebah the medal of Officer of the Order of Valour.

The development-oriented Senator received her medal at the Bamenda grandstand Monday May 20, during the celebration of this year’s National Day.

It was the Governor of the North West Region, Adolph Lele Lafrique, who affixed the medal on Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri.

This is one of the fruits of Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri’s distinguished services towards the empowerment of women and the girl child, her contributions towards the empowerment of the underprivileged and her promotion of academic excellence in the North West Region.

Speaking after receiving the medal, the down-to-earth, jovial and results-driven Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri said "this recognition is a call to do more in putting smiles on the faces of the people I am called to serve".

**Fons of Mezam with Senator Prof Nebah Bridget**

Of the 51 persons decorated in Bamenda, only three fell in the category of the Order of Valour amongst which is Prof Nebah.

Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri’s recognition was celebrated across the board with Fons of Mezam acknowledging her immense contributions in so short a time.

Senator Prof Nebah, it should be recalled, was elected into the Senate in March 2023. She previously served as Technical Adviser No 1 to the Minister of Women Empowerment and the Family.

It should be recalled that after Senator Prof Nebah, on Saturday April 15, 2023, received her accoutrements as senator of the third legislature, she had dedicated her five-year mandate as senator to working towards empowering women and girls in the North West Region.

She has been living up to this billing, by offering scholarships to outstanding students and pupils from Mezam Division and others from other divisions of the North West Region.

Her actions on the field earned her an Academic Excellence Promoter Award in the 2023 edition (21st edition) of The Guardian Post Achievement Award.

Over 18,000 among The Guardian Post’s millions of readers voted Senator Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri for her unflinching and remarkable efforts in encouraging outstanding academic performance among students and pupils in the North West Region, through her annual award of scholarships to best performing students and pupils, thereby enhancing gov’t’s policy for quality education.
