At celebration of Biya’s 41st anniversary in power: North West CPDM calls on Biya to seek another mandate.

Supporters of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM, in the North West Region have called on President Paul Biya to seek another mandate as Head of State.

The echoed the appeal during a recent working visit of the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the CPDM, Jean Nkuete. 

They also made the call on November 6 while celebrating President Paul Biya’s 41st anniversary in power as Head of State.

Speaking during the event at the Bamenda Congress Hall, the leader of the CPDM in the North West Region, former Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang urged supporters to prepare and work hard to as to achieve victory in forth coming elections.

The CPDM in the North West Region, Yang also said, is ready to vote 100 percent for Paul Biya in the 2025 presidential election. The leader of the CPDM in the region also said, they are focused on winning all councils and parliamentary seats in upcoming elections.  According to Yang, there is no room to idleness. He urged supporters to enroll massively on the voter register.

2025 presidential poll will be difficult but…

“The presidential election 2025 will be difficult but we will win them. We have won battles before and we will win more in future. We appeal to President Paul Biya to be our candidate in 2025 poll and God should continue to guide and grant him good health to stand as candidate in 2025 poll," Yang said.

According  to the  Coordinator of the  CPDM  Academy, Prof  Elvis Ngolle Ngolle who accompanied the SG  of the party to  Bamenda: "Whatever the competition, whosoever the competitor, Jean Kuete is sure of the North West because we have determine militants who are ready to vote for the president as the candidate for CPDM".

He expressed joy that Bamenda and the North West in general has showed uncommon resilience despite challenges. Bamenda and the North West, he said, have triumphed over all attempts to destroy it and crush its people.

The NW CPDM, the former PM said, is proud to belong to the project of the building of a strong, united and indivisible Cameroon under the leadership of President Paul Biya. The  Cameroon which the founding fathers of the nation,  the former Star Building Occupant said, is what they are striving to keep in good condition.

 

Minister Mbayu says NW grateful to Biya

Minister Felix Mbayu on his part noted that:" We are pleased to be part of this celebration, celebrating 41st year in power of a good leader H.E Paul Biya. Leadership is in action and we are grateful that the Head of State uses steady hands at the helm of Cameroon".

The Secretary General of the ruling party had meanwhile on November 4 while in Bamenda said his visit to the Region was to inform party supporters about the need to be on the alert to face opponents on the political battle field.

Nkuete said if supporters in the North West Region resolutely go to work, he concluded, Cameroon will emerge from the coming elections much stronger, peaceful and united.

To that end he said, supporters must build their capacities, strengthen themselves and change the working methods. Seminars were organized for some of the comrades in the Senate, National Assembly, the Regional Council and the municipal councils.

 

Yaah Judith appeals for peace

Another supporter of the CPDM, Yaah Judith Achidi Sunday who is the General Manager of CAMTEL on her part lauded the gains made by the Head of State, Paul Biya to lead Cameroon.

Judith Achidi who has been pushing for peace since the crisis in the North West and South West regions erupted called on all to work for peace and remain resolute behind the Head of State, President Paul Biya.
