Mbipgo indigenes hold dev't driven AGM in Douala.

Sons and daughters of Mbipgo village in Ndu Subdivision, Donga Mantung Division of the North West Region, will on Saturday April 6, 2024, converged on Douala, in the Littoral Region, to chat the path to boost the development of their community.

Indigenes of the village will be grouped under the banner of the Mbipgo Development and Cultural Platform, MBIDECUP. This will be during the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, AGM.

It will take place at the Wimbum Cultural and Development Association, WICUDA Hall, in the Bonaberi neighbourhood.

A release issued by MBIDECUP National President, Hanson Lorater Ghari, announcing the strategic meeting, indicates that the gathering “presents a crucial opportunity for us to come together, discuss important matters, and make decisions that will shape the future of Mbipgo Village and MBIDECUP”.

Lorater Ghari, through the release, reminded his Mbipgo kindreds that their “presence and active participation are highly valued as we work towards our shared goals and objectives...”.

The AGM, MBIDECUP President added, “will serve as a platform for us to review the progress made so far, address any challenges encountered, and chart a course for the future”.

The AGM, Lorater Ghari added, is a veritable platform for members to “contribute their insights, ideas and expertise to ensure the continued success and growth of our organisation”

“Your inputs and generous contributions are invaluable in guiding our strategic direction and decision-making processes,” he stated.

The highpoint of the AGM, the President noted, will be a fundraising geared towards the provision of potable water to Mbipgo New Layout Quarters, estimated to the tune of 17 million FCFA.

"As we prepare for this significant event, I urge you all to mark your calendars and make arrangements to attend the AGM in Bonaberi, Douala, on April 6, 2024.

The presence of members, the President insisted, “will not only demonstrate your commitment to MBIDECUP but also play a vital role in shaping the direction of our collective efforts”.

He also used the release to remind all sons and daughters of Mbipgo, of the importance of federating forces for the common good of the community.

“Together, we can achieve great things and make a positive impact in Mbipgo community,” he said.

The massive turnout of all and sundry and their fruitful discussions at the General Assembly “will propel MBIDECUP towards greater success and impact”.

While appreciating the continues dedication and support of members, he reminded them to come along with their annual development dues.
