At Impact Academy in Douala: Pastor Kumuyi encourages youth to change, impact world.

He was sharing his message in Ndobo, Douala IV municipality Saturday March 25, during the Impact Academy with thousands of youth across the continent. The Impact Academy is a global youth convocation integrated into the six-day Global Crusade ongoing in Cameroon.

Over ten thousand youth, young adults and professionals converged at the Ndobo crusade location and thousands others online via zoom, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

Speaking on the topic: “Delivered and Destined to Change Your World”, Pastor Kumuyi said, youth should change their attitudes towards problems, people, poverty, then move forward and achieve their life goals.

Preaching the message of positivity, he encouraged young people to have faith, no matter what they are going through. He reminded them that nothing remains the same as change is a constant aspect of life. He encouraged all to believe in the power of Christ, trust His Grace and change to change the world.

“As we talk about changing the world, we need to touch the Creator first through grace and peace through Jesus Christ. Sin builds a barrier, a great wall that is so thick and high, between God and man. Jesus Christ breaks that barrier between God and man, and the Lord is ready to change you now so that you are ready to go and change your world,” Dr Kumuyi said.

Quoting 2 Corinthians 5:7 the Pastor Kumuyi rekindled the message that instructs that if a man is in Christ, he is a new Creation. To emphasise on his message, the Man of God defined GRACE as Go beyond the Average - by grace, Rely on the Almighty, Advance despite Adversities, Change Your Attitude with Gracefulness, and Expect High Achievements through Grace.

Reacting to Pastor Kumuyi’s message, Goodwill Chongsi, a student who attended the conference, said he doesn't think God sent the Man of God to Cameroon out of nowhere. He believes the crisis affecting the country in the North West and South West, as well as intertribal squabbles, could end if young persons like him can make a difference.

"We are leaders of tomorrow in this country, which is going through difficulties. We know God can do something about the situation," he wished.

To the Littoral Regional Delegate of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, such an initiative, is laudable because the State hopes that the church can impact change and influence moral decadence in young persons.

"The State hopes that from the church, it can take youth to a moral and clean level of mindsets. That is why the State can give authorisation so that this crusade can be taken in this country. Because we need youth to stand, we need youth tomorrow to come and take over this country and we need youth moral rearmament," the delegate said.
