SCALE 32: Enovation Factory, UNDP launch applications for new cohort.

The launching of the new phase follows a first cohort that benefited from six months of support. The programme which is 100% free for selected startups and offers two tracks. 

The Incubation track, officials said, is designed for advanced-stage ideas and prototypes that need support to structure their business model, validate their market and prepare for launch. 

It was detailed that the Acceleration track targets already operational startups seeking to grow, enter new markets, strengthen their business model and prepare for fundraising.

The new cohort, officials said, will begin in September 2026 and run for four months. Selected entrepreneurs, it was said, will benefit from training workshops, personalised coaching, mentoring, bootcamps and networking opportunities, as well as connections with investors, experts and partners. 

Organisers say the objective is to strengthen the entrepreneurial, managerial and financial capabilities of beneficiaries while improving access to markets, networks and financing opportunities.

SCALE 32, it should be said, is open to entrepreneurs from all regions of Cameroon, with particular attention given to regions that were less represented during the first cohort. 

The programme also aims to strengthen the participation of women entrepreneurs, with a target of 50% of selected startups being led or co-led by women. 

Officials said partial support for transportation costs is planned to help reduce geographical barriers for participants outside Yaounde.

Applicants have been urged to present an innovative solution to an identified problem, demonstrate market and growth potential, and show the ability and commitment to execute their project. 

Projects with economic, social or environmental impact and a relevant use of digital technology, it was said, are particularly sought. Applications are open until August 31, 2026, and can be submitted online through the Enovation Factory application platform, enovation-factory.com/postuler.
