Several Cameroon internationals have resumed training with their respective clubs. This is ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

The players returned to their various clubs after spending a well-deserved rest away from the pitch at the end of a demanding season.

Cameroon international defender, Junior Tchamadeu, is among those who resumed training recently. The Cameroonian resumed training with his English Championship club, Stoke City.

The Indomitable Lions right back and his Championship club are preparing for the pre-season.

Stoke City’s 2026/2027 pre-season schedule features a mix of behind-closed-doors matches and public friendlies, including high-profile home games against Everton and Valencia.

After returning to Clayton Wood on June 29, the squad’s complete warm-up slate leads into the start of the Championship season.

They will begin their quest for promotion to the Premier League at home against Swansea City.

It should be recalled that Tchamadeu recently extended his contract with the English second tier club.

The Indomitable Lions right-back penned a new deal which will keep him with the Championship club until the summer of 2028.

Tchamadeu has made 87 appearances for Stoke and missed only one of their first 21 Championship fixtures in the 2025/26 season.

He was later sidelined for two months following a knee injury he sustained while playing for Cameroon at the 2025 African Cup of Nations, AFCON.

He missed out on five games last month after picking an injury in a game, at Preston North End in March.

Another Cameroon international who is back with his club is Christopher Wooh.

The centre-back is back to training with Spartak Moscow to prepare for the new season.

Wooh performed brilliantly for the Russian top tier club and is hoping to maintain his impeccable form.

He won the Player of the Month Award at Spartak Moscow for March 2026.

The Cameroonian defender was in excellent form, clinching the monthly club honour after twice being named Man of the Match and scoring two crucial goals during that period.

Wooh won the Russian Cup title with Spartak Moscow in May 2026.

In France, Kevin Kamdem and Simon Ngapandouetnbu were part of the first training session of French Ligue One side, Montpellier.

The Cameroonian duo and their club are plotting a return to the French Ligue 1 after missing out on promotion last season.

Elsewhere, Aaron Bibout has resumed training with KRC Genk.

Bibout scored six goals in 21 matches last season. The 21-year-old joined the Belgian Pro League side in July 2025.

Other players are currently on individual training sessions.

They include George Kevin Nkoudou, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa, Faris Moumbagna and Moumi Ngamaleu.
