One the Cameroon’s leading financial institutions, CCA Bank, has reiterated its unwavering commitment to promote the development of human capital and managerial excellence across sectors in the country.

The financial institution reaffirmed the commitment through its participation and as major partner and sponsor of the 16th edition of the National Management Days.

The three-day event, held at the GeCAM headquarters in Douala, brought together over 400 managers, business leaders, experts, and decision-makers. Focus was on challenges of leadership, governance, and organisational performance.

CCA Bank was represented at the event by the General Manager, Alvine Tiwoda, who also doubled as Co-President of the 16th edition.

Officials said her appointment to the position also served as an honour to her leadership and that of the institution she leads in contributing to Cameroon’s economic and organisational development.

Harping on CCA Bank’s commitment to supporting the National Management Days, the General Manager, emphasised that skills development is one of the key pillars of the Bank’s strategy.

Alvine Tiwoda said in an environment marked by constant economic, technological, and organisational changes, businesses must rely on leaders who are capable of anticipating change, inspiring their teams, and effectively driving transformation.

To the CCA Bank General Manager, transformational leadership has become a true driver of competitiveness.

“A transformational leader inspires, motivates, leads by example, and remains attentive to others,” Alvine Tiwoda stated.

She noted that today’s leader must not only provide a clear vision but also support employees, encourage innovation, and remain closely connected to operational realities.

CCA Bank throughout the three days of the event, hosted an exhibition stand where participants were presented the Bank’s products and services.

The bank also used the platform to present its innovative solutions to visitors, businesspersons and professionals who attended the event.

Through its active involvement in the major event, CCA Bank reaffirmed its determination to support initiatives that foster the emergence of modern, responsible, and high-performing management.

Remaining true to its vision as a responsible and community-focused bank, the institution continues to promote talent development, innovation, and the sustainable creation of value for the Cameroonian economy.

Discussions at the event highlighted the importance of investing in human capital, now widely regarded as a sustainable competitive advantage rather than simply a factor of production.

The participation of several major public and private organisations, including CAMTEL, MAETUR, and numerous players from the financial sector, organisers said, demonstrates the growing collective awareness of the importance of performance management as a key driver of growth and national competitiveness.
