Ikiliwindi: Population hails Rev Dr John Ngoh for providing potable water to community.

It was done in the presence of the Divisional Officer, DO, of Konye, Attah Moses Ndep. Also in attendance were the 2nd Deputy Mayor of the Konye Council, Mandi Lawrence Balimba, the donor, Rev Dr Ngoh John Ngoh, Chairman of the Traditional Council, elite, traditional councilors, clergy and a cross section of the population. 

Addressing the population, Rev Dr Ngoh John Ngoh said he was privileged to be a blessing in serving his community and nation. He added that it is a dream that has come true, as his wish has always been to serve and contribute to nation building. 

As one who ascribes to the ideals of former American President, J.F, Kennedy of "don't ask what your country can for you, but rather what you can do for your country", he said his goal has always been to serve. The project, he added, is in line with the Head of State's vision for Cameroon to emerge by 2035. 

For his part, the 2nd Deputy Mayor of the Konye Council underscored the need for good use and maintenance, for the project to last. He thanked the initiator of the project and wished that the spirit that visualised his dreams, should continue to lead him to continue his assigned Godly missions to other communities.

Earlier, the Head of the Ikilliwindi Traditional Council, Abwa Daniel Dieka, lauded the initiative on behalf of his community. He acknowledged that water is life and the good God should replenish the source of the donor for thinking about Ikilliwindi.

Meanwhile, the DO, Attah Moses Ndep, noted that the project is timely as the community has had difficulties in getting the precious liquid since potable water had been a scarce commodity in the community. 

Corroborating earlier speakers, he thanked the donor and urged the population to make better use of the water project.

Ultramodern borehole worth the name

The ultramodern borehole is standing close to twelve metres tall and it's powered by the solar energy and electricity. The pipe, the architect said, is planted close to 50 metres down with a modern filter in every breakaway junction. 

The exterior is made up of two separate tabs that can enable two people fetch water at once with a safety tank meant to discard waste water and a fence to protect the immediate environment to always be clean.

Rev Dr Ngoh John Ngoh, worthy son who thinks of home

Born and bred in Mambanda, Kumba, the Founder of Mission for Christ International Ministries Limbe, Rev Dr Ngoh John Ngoh, is based in the United States of America and has deep affection for his native population. 

That is why he keeps up thinking about home. Apart from water, he has also intervened in medical campaigns to alleviate the health problems of the population. 

The holder Doctor of Divinity is a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ with branches of his ministry scattered all over the country. 

He became a fulltime missionary in 1997 when he and his family came to Cameroon to do missionary work and planted missionaries in Limbe and also got involved with medical missions and establish an NGO called Health Teams International.

Rev Dr Ngoh John Ngoh believes that man is a three-part being “where we have the spirit, soul and the body”, reason the word of God nourishes the spirit of man, and medical supplies help heal the body. 

He is Knight of the Cameroon Order of Valour and Knight of the Cameroon Order of Merit. Rev Dr Ngoh says he loves Cameroon the land of his birth, that's he will not relent his efforts in helping the population when need be.
