MINDEF partners CPC to modernise logistics with mobile petrol stations.

A ceremony to hand over the mobile fuel stations to the ministry held May 29, 2026, at the Joint Services Technical Training Centre, CFTA, at Ekounou, Yaounde.

The Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence was represented at the ceremony by Major General Ebaka Hypolite. He cut the ribbon to mark the official entry into service of the mobile stations. The event brought together top brass of the military and technical partners.

Boosting military logistical readiness

Speaking during the ceremony, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the Cameroon Petroleum Corporation, Bikoun Nga Johan Harris, underscored that a nation's tranquility forms the bedrock of its economic, social, and industrial advancement.

“As an enterprise operating within the petroleum and energy sector, we are convinced that this partnership between the Cameroon Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of Defence directly addresses the strategic necessities of the military," Bikoun Nga stated.

The CPC CEO added that the commissioned mobile refueling stations are engineered specifically to offer flexibility, rapid deployment capabilities, and heightened operational efficiency, features absolutely critical in volatile intervention zones where traditional logistics are easily compromised.

"This is our concrete contribution to safeguarding peace, preserving territorial integrity, and ensuring the protection of the population," CPC boss added. 

The deployment of the revolutionary mobile infrastructure, officials said, was made possible through months of rigorous planning, corporate advisory, and international cooperation. 

The strategic role, it was disclosed, was played by AD Offices and Holdings Group Limited (SARL), an innovative business development and strategic consulting firm leading by problem-solving in Cameroon and in the CEMAC Sub region.

The firm, it was added, aligned CPC’s expansion strategy, bringing Chinese technical experts into the local market, and structured a public-private partnership to resolve one of MINDEF’s complex logistical challenges.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, the Executive Director of AD Offices and Holdings Group Limited (SARL), Marlon AD Mengot, expressed immense satisfaction with the outcome.

"It is a profound feeling of accomplishment seeing this mobile petrol station officially handed over to the Ministry of Defence today. This is the culmination of months upon months of tireless work," Mengot said. 

He added that as a “business development and strategic consulting firm, it is incredibly fulfilling to see that our advisory, corporate strategy, project building, and cross-border partnership development efforts on behalf of CPC have yielded such fruit. We can only look forward to greater milestones as we move forward".

Key technical partners that attended the event included representatives from MINERVE and Chinese engineering experts from the Africa Business Alliance, who sat alongside other dignitaries.

The Chinese technical experts used the ceremony to explain the infrastructure, its robust functionality, security measures, and mechanical adaptability to the rugged terrains often faced by defense forces.

The technical presentation paved the way for military engineers to engage with the manufacturers to clarify maintenance and deployment logistics.
