Yaounde set to host Government Action Fair from June 6.

The 15th edition of the Government Action Fair, better known by its French acronym, SAGO, will be held in Yaounde from June 6 to 13.

The event will run under the theme: “State-Private Sector Partnership: Lever for an Emerging Cameroon”. It will bring together government institutions, private companies and development partners.

According to the organisers, SAGO is a national platform for showcasing public action and serves as a space for dialogue between the administration, the private sector and citizens.

Over the years, it has highlighted public policies, government reforms and private initiatives contributing to the country’s economic and social development.

The 2026 edition, organisers say, seeks to strengthen cooperation between the State, businesses, decentralised regional and local authorities, and development partners.

Organisers state that several major innovations have been announced for this edition. Among said innovations is a Village of the 10 Regions, which will display the economic, social and cultural potential of the country’s territories. The initiative is designed to provide visibility to regional assets and opportunities.

A Careers and Training Crossroads Village will focus on guidance, employability and future professions. It is intended to connect training structures, young people and employment opportunities.

The Local Consumption Village will be strengthened to promote Made in Cameroon products. The space is dedicated to encouraging local production and consumption.

Organisers have also announced a stronger international dimension, with the participation of partner countries. Innovation, digital technology, the green economy and sustainable development will be given prominence during the event.

A public notice has been issued inviting public administrations, state-owned and private enterprises, decentralised territorial authorities, professional organisations, technical and financial partners, and other interested structures to subscribe for participation in SAGO 2026. The deadline for subscription has been set for May 10, 2026.
