Minister condoles family of late MAETUR Deputy DG.

The Minister of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure, Henri Eyebe Ayissi, has extended government’s heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Deputy Director General of MAETUR, Mbong Michael Mbine.

This was during a condolence visit at the home of the deceased in Yaounde on February 3. Mbong, it should be recalled, died on January 29. 



The minister was accompanied by the Director General of MAETUR, Louis Roger Manga, alongside several close collaborators. 

The delegation also included the Secretary General of the ministry, the Honorary Inspector General/DEPC, the Director of Domains and the Head of the Communication Unit.

During the visit, Minister Eyebe Ayissi conveyed a message of sympathy on behalf of the Head of State and the entire government. He expressed compassion and solidarity with the bereaved family. 

He also paid tribute to the late Mbong Michael Mbine for his commitment and dedication to public service. The minister highlighted his contribution to the development and management of urban land and housing projects under MAETUR.

The minister emphasised that the late Mbong was a disciplined and devoted administrator whose professional life was marked by loyalty, rigour, and a strong sense of responsibility.

He assured the family that the government stands with them in their time of mourning and will continue to remember the deceased for his valuable service to the nation.

On behalf of MAETUR, the Director General, Louis Roger Manga, also expressed deep sorrow over the loss, noting that the institution has lost a key pillar of its leadership.

He described Mbong Michael Mbine as a colleague who worked tirelessly for the advancement of the organisation and the improvement of living conditions for citizens through sustainable urban development initiatives.

He noted that in this time of grief, MAETUR reaffirmed its support and solidarity with the family of the deceased.
