Renowned Cameroonian lawyer, NJ Ayuk, who is also Founder and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Centurion Law Group has featured in the list of 100 Most Reputable Africans for 2023.

Leading global reputation firm dubbed, Reputation Poll International, made the list public recently. Authors of the compilation say the aim is to recognise and celebrate the achievements of those selected especially their positive impacts in Africa and the world at large.

The list features individuals from diverse walks of live ranging from governance, human rights, education, entertainment and business. Officials said those mentioned were selected based on integrity, impact and visibility.

Meanwhile, Ayuk’s Centurion Law first is a Pan-African corporate law conglomerate that operates in the energy, financial, and extractive sectors. He is author of one of the bestselling books, Big Barrels: African Oil and Gas and the Quest for Prosperity.

He features on the list given his works in the oil and gas sector in Africa. Regarded as one of the Africa’s most prolific energy deal makers at a relatively young age, Ayuk’s works in the domain, officials said, cannot be undermined.

Other names on the list are: Kenya's Amina Chawahir Mohamed, South Africa's Bonang Mohale, Chancellor at the University of the Free State and Professor at Johannesburg Business School, Kenyan President William Ruto, Malawian President Lazarus Chakwera and Senator Chantal Moussokoura Fanny of Ivory Coast.

Also cited is Egypt's Naguib Onsi Sawiris, Chairman of Weather Investment Company; Ghana's Sir Samuel Esson Jonah, Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, and Executive Chairman of Jonah Capital in South Africa and Nigeria's Dr. Dauda Lawal, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Credent Capital and Advisory Ltd, Martha K. Koome, Chief Justice of Kenya and Nigeria's Aisha Yesufu are featured.

The list features equally Ethiopia's President, Sahle Work- Zedwe, Nigeria’s Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, and Ghana's Afua Kyei who is the Chief Financial Officer at Bank of England.
