Territorial administration: Biya's appointment of cronies' children sparks criticisms.

Ntam is said to be the son of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minister Libom Likeng. 

Other notable appointments being criticised are those of Sadi Gilles Christian as SDO of the Nyong and So’o Division of the Centre Region. 

Gilles Christian is believed to be the son of the Minister of Communication, Rene Emmanuel Sadi.

Bomba Nkollo Ofikle was also appointed the same day as DO of Munatele Sub division. Ofikle is also said to be the son of Bomba Cecile Nkollo former Minister of Women Empowerment and the Family.

Another appointment that has generated public interest is that of Eto Fame Justin Hector Daniel moved from Edea I to Kribi I Subdivision as DO. 

Eto is the son of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo. Tchuente Tsemo Liliane Flore said to be the niece of Madeleine Tchuente, Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, was named Secretary General of the East Governor’s Office.

There is also Ndongo Ndongo Jean Lazare, who was transferred from Mayo-Danay Division in the Far North Region to Mbam and Inoubou Division of the Centre Region as SDO.

He is the son of late CPDM Parliamentary Group leader, Jean Ndongo Essomba, who was also a business heavyweight.

The administrators are expected to begin assuming their new duty stations in the days ahead. The appointments come as the country continues to prepare for the October 12, Presidential election.
