God’s words to champion spiritual growth

Rev Li Likeng told pressmen during the event that as the head of the continental body, he is working on using the word of God to drive the growth of the church on the African continent champion the larger development of the region.

The man of God said he and his team are championing the efforts through advocacy and intermediation via discussions with the continent’s heads of states and other major leaders across the region.

“We have the Agenda 2063 of the African Union, to want to build an Africa that we want. But we will also have another look to say that we want to reach the Africa that God wants. Because if we reach the Africa that God wants, it is really sure that we will reach an Africa that we want and that will have other advantages,” Rev Li Likeng.

The AEA boss whose other portfolios include the post of the Cameroon national representative at the African Forum on Religion and Governance also added that the organisation is also continuing on already existing projects like its university institution based in Nairobi in Kenya and its theology faculty in Bangui in the Central African Republic and Yaounde.
