The National Overseer of the Holiness Revival Movement Cameroon, Pastor Sakeh Elvis Qui, has encouraged followers of the non-denominational ministry to put their focus on Jesus Christ as they continue their Christian journey towards heaven.

Pastor Sakeh made the call during the 2024 national conference of the ministry that held in Buea from 29 December 2024 to 1 January 2025.

The conference was held under the theme: “Raising a holy and zealous church for end time revival”.

It brought together believers from different Christian denominations who seek to build a holy and stronger bond with Christ. The conference is an annual rendezvous.

Addressing believers, Pastor Sakeh expressed frustration that Christianity is dying today with a lot of backsliding, corruption and sin. In this light, he said the mission to revive a life of holiness, entails that they do not just preach as pastors or Christians, but practice a life that is void of sin.

“…the Lord Jesus Christ through the message was telling us that let our eyes be focused on Jesus not on man. We must worship God and avoid attracting the attention to ourselves,” he stated.

He called on faithful to spread the good news of righteousness, holiness and truth because the end time is at hand. Believers during the conference were edified with live messages, video and zoom messages. They also had the opportunity to listen live to the international director of the ministry, Pastor Paul Rika from Abuja through zoom.

The man of God preached to them about the mind of God and His thoughts towards true believers. The four-day programme was juxtaposed with preaching and teachings, book study, question and answer sessions to enable members purify themselves.

According to Pastor Sakeh “…the goal is that as people listen to these sermons and lessons whether at home, online or live, they will strive to be righteous and not just Christians in words but in action”.

Pastor Sakeh said 2024 was a tough year with conflicts across the world, the Anglophone crisis, increased cost of living in Cameroon, corruption and embezzlement.

Despite these challenges, he called on members to be partakers in seeking God’s face to resolve these issues in 2025.

One of the participants, Chantal Koi, said she had experienced the word and grace of God, which has touched people and convicting them of their sins and preparing for rapture.

As the leader of the Buea chapter, Koi said it was a privilege to host brethren from across the national territory because we desire revival in Cameroon.

She said God had commissioned them to be bold and courageous in carrying the message of holiness to the people. This, she went on, is because King Jesus is with them as true believers, revived and empowered to live holy lives.

The Regional Overseer of the Ministry in the South West Region, Aloh Azoah, said the conference was refreshing because it gave participants an opportunity to commune with brethren from other regions.
