Limbe City Mayor cutting ribbon as other key officials look on

Government and municipal authorities in Limbe, Fako Division of the South West Region, have saluted the investments strides made by the Chongwain brothers, with the construction of Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel in Limbe, a facility that will boost the hospitality sector of the city.

The officials, including Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome Ngale; Assistant Divisional Officer of Limbe II, Fotindong Elsie Nanyongo; and the Mayor of Limbe II, Chief Daniel Woka Ngale, praised the investment during the launch of the hotel, on Saturday July 15, 2025.

Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel has been set up by two brothers; Sidney Chongwain and Brian Chongwain.

Addressing guests during the official opening of the hotel, Limbe City Mayor, Paul Efome Ngale, said the edifice was a massive accomplishment within his municipality that will increase its attractiveness to tourists.

He presented the Chongwain brothers, as “…diaspora members with the love for their country”.

Efome expressed joy that such investors had chosen Limbe, promising that they will never regret their investments despite the challenges. He encouraged them to continue in their drive to make the city great, adding that he will be an ambassador for such an investment.

The City Mayor said Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel will bring western standards to Limbe.

After a guided tour of the single and double bedroom apartments, single rooms, bar and the fully furnished event hall at Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel, the City Mayor called on the staff to ensure they maintain the western standards in the structure in their service to their customers and guests at the facility.

Such services and professionalism, the City Mayor said, will distinguish Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel from all other hospitality facilities in the city.

In this light, he called on the workers to be assiduous and committed in their job at the Apart Hotel to ensure the institution achieves its goals.

To the investors, he urged them to ensure the respect of their corporate social responsibility in the community and to contribute to the development of the community by engaging citizen participation in development.

The Chongwain brothers have promised to revolutionise real estate, hospitality sector in Cameroon

Speaking to the press after the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel, Sidney Chongwain, said the project aims to bring the same hospitality standards in the United States of America to Cameroon, so that people in the diaspora can feel at home whenever they return to the country, while locals and tourists can feel the difference.

He noted that the facility would not only bring global standards in terms of infrastructure, but also in service delivery to guests and customers.

According to Sidney Chongwain, businesses in Cameroon face issues with customer service, adding that staff at the facility will be trained to be the best professionals in the sector.

The services and infrastructure, he mentioned, are very affordable with ‘studios’ and apartments, starting at 40,000 FCFA depending on the standards and single bedrooms starting at 25,000 FCFA.

On his part, Brian Chongwain, a co-owner of Azure Villa Suites Apart Hotel, said the facility was a masterpiece in their investment drive with the goal of not just making money, but leaving an impact in the lives of people who use the property. “…What makes us happy is the fact that we can put a smile in the face of our clients,” he noted.
