Nouhou, Ebobisse begin FIFA Club World Cup campaign today.

Ebobisse's club Los Angeles FC on their part will challenge UEFA Conference League champions Chelsea at 8:00am at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, USA. 

Nouhou is the first of the duo that will be in action today. 

He is among the players retained for the tournament and tipped to earn a starting role in the game against the Brazilian giants. 

The Cameroon international is one of the five-players in the Sounders squad who are no strangers to this level of the competition. 

The other players are experiencing a tournament of this nature for the first time. 

Tolo is heading for the game with an impressive season in the MLS. 

He has started in all 16 of the club's matches this season, has scored once and also recorded an assist in the same game against St. Louis City. 

Nohou and his teammates are poised to start their campaign with a win which would boost their chances of reaching the next round. There have two other group matches. 

They will take on Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid on June 19 in their penultimate group fixture before concluding with reigning European champions Paris Saint Germain, PSG on June 23. 

Nouhou joined Seattle Sounders in 2016 from Rainbow FC of Bamenda. 

He joined the club after impressing in his debut season with Sounders FC 2 prior to the 2017 MLS campaign. 

The defender scored his first professional goal in a 2-1 win over LA Galaxy II on April 15, 2017. 

Since 2023, Nouhou has constantly had a solid season at the left back position for Seattle. 

He has won the MLS Cup in 2019 and the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, CONCACAF Champions League in 2022. 

Ebobisse and his team, Los Angeles FC have a more challenging English Premier League opponent. 

After winning the UEFA Conference League, becoming the first club to win all four main UEFA competitions, the Blues are aiming to secure the FIFA Club World Cup fixture. 

Ebobisse and his teammates have to produce something really special to walk away with a win. The forward has shown flashes of his brilliance so far in the season. He started in six of the 11 matches played and has scored three goals so far in the MLS. 

Nouhou and Ebobisse are not the only Cameroonians taking part at the FIFA Club World Cup. 

Danny Namaso of FC Porto is also on the starting blocks. They will face Brazilian sid, Palmeiras in their first game in group A. Al Ahly and Inter Miami complete the group.

It is worth mentioning that the 21st edition of the FIFA Club World Cup kicked-off on Saturday June 14 in the USA. 

Inter Miami of Leonel Messi played a goalless draw against Al Al Ahly of Egypt at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida in the tournament opener.

Manchester City are the defending champions after winning the last tournament in December 2023. 

A total of 32 teams are taking part in the month-long expanded intercontinental club competition.
