CAMTEL GM donates farm inputs to farmers in Ndu.

The donation exercise took place at the esplanade of Ndu Council, recently. The consignment comprised of 57 bags of fertilisers and 10 bags of improved maize seeds. The consignment was distributed to some 28 farming groups.

During the brief donation ceremony, representatives of the farming groups expressed gratitude to Judith Yah Achidi, whom they described as their mother, for always thinking about them. 

They also assured that the fertilisers and seeds will go a long way in boosting their farming ventures and improve on the crop production in the Subdivision. 

According to the farmers, the gesture is a testimony to the CAMTEL GM’s unwavering dedication, selfless services, and unrelenting commitment to the socio-economic empowerment of her community. 

They also praised their benefactor for helping to guarantee food security in a Region that has been marred by the nine-year long armed conflict, which has drastically affected agricultural activities and reducing farm produce. 

For her constant support to farmers and the entire community in Donga Mantung, the farmers' representatives pledged loyalty to the ruling party and vowed to give their 100% vote during upcoming elections in the country, starting with the presidential election scheduled for October this year. 

Meanwhile, the gesture by the Donga Mantung elite, who was recently appointed to the Central Committee of the ruling Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM party, is in line with her commitment to empowering her community, which is largely reliant on farming activities. 

It should be recalled that following the appointment of Judith Yah Sunday to the CPDM Central Committee last March, supporters of the ruling party in Ndu Subdivision, from where she hails, had staged a Thank You march in honour of the appointee. 

They had also addressed a motion of support to the President of the Republic, Paul Biya, praising his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of the North West Region in particular and Cameroon in general. 

They also reaffirmed their loyalty and dedication to the party National President and vowed to work tirelessly to ensure the success of the CPDM party in the upcoming elections.
