Buea-based non-profit to empower 50 adolescent mothers in November.

The Grace Chin Foundation, a non profit institution based in Buea has set rolling an initiative to cater for, empower and provide for some adolescent mothers and pregnant teenage girls in Fako Division. The foundation made known its intentions in a recent release, noting that the November-bound initiative has as aim, setting them up for a better future.

The campaign, it went on, will provide the beneficiaries “with lively hood skills to enable them improve on their living standards and provide for their unborn children. To successfully carry out this activity, we rely on the generosity of the entire public for the support.”

“We plead that you make a commitment to support our appeal by providing a cash/kind donation in response to our goal. Your generosity will make a difference in our community by enabling us continue in our work of serving humanity,” the Grace Chin Foundation communicated to the public.

Created in July 2018, the Grace Chin Foundation has been working with communities in the South West and Littoral regions to bring relief to the vulnerable and the needy. Through its different initiatives, the foundation has been able to provide relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons from the armed conflict in the North West and South West regions, empowering pregnant teenage girls and educating youths on menstrual hygiene management.

It prides of having impacted over 5000 people through its humanitarian activities and outreaches. The non profit also seeks to provide and promote community development, giving hope to the underprivileged in orphanages and youth empowerment,
