BOBA Tiko Chapter counts its blessings.

Cross section of BOBANs at thanksgiving service

The Tiko Chapter of the Ex-students Association of the Cameroon Protestant College, CPC Bali, has made a thanksgiving donation at PCC Tiko to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the creation of their alma mater and the Golden Jubilee of the association.

In a message to some 300 worshippers at the service last Sunday, the Tiko Chapter President, Asong Ndifor, said the ivy institution has rolled out over 14,000 graduates.

Asong who is Editorialist at The Guardian Post, said among them, are two Prime Ministers of Cameroon, two Governors, OAU Secretary General, a presidential candidate at the 2018 election, Osih Joshua; civil society icon, peace crusader and international legal consultant Ntumfor Sir Barrister Nico Halle, and above all the current President of the United Nations General Assembly, His Excellency Philemon Yang.

"Coming back home to the Tiko Chapter, we have produced senior CDC managers, three senior lawyers, bilingual high school principal, business executive etc. In this church, the last pastor, Reverend Mathias Njei, was one of us and if you permit me to be a little selfish, Emeritus Moderator Festus Asana was my classmate of 1964 entry class,” Asong detailed.

He said the cited names are just a “handful of the over 14,000 reasons we have to thank God and urge you to make CPC Bali the first choice for your kids when they want to enter college".

Two officiating priests at the service, Revs Ayuk Jones and Nana Comfort, prayed that the Lord should continue to bless the college and its ex-students wherever they are in the world.

The ex-students later had a thanksgiving lunch at the exquisite and environmentally friendly CDC Senior Service Club hedged with rubber trees, swimming pools and a lawn tennis court.
