The Interim Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, Prof Fuh Calistus Gentry, in a move that greatly boosted the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM massive participation at this year’s National Day in Donga Mantung Division, offered bales of party fabrics to CPDM supporters in all the five Sections of the ruling party in the Division.

This was as the nation geared up to celebrate this year’s edition of the National Day, Tuesday May 20.

The donation of the party fabrics, we gathered, was also to keep CPDM supporters in Donga Mantung alert, prepare for the upcoming presidential election and to showcase their attachment to peace and national unity.

Prof Fuh Calistus Gentry’s donation, we also learned, amounted to 1,500 CPDM fabrics of six yards, to each of the five CPDM Sections in Donga Mantung Division. They were meant for the CPDM, WCPDM and YCPDM of the five Sections of the Division, namely: Donga Mantung I (Nkambe); Donga Mantung II (Ndu); Donga Mantung III (Ako); Donga Mantung IV (Misaje) and Donga Mantung V (Nwa).

We also gathered that the orientation was that each CPDM Section in the Division had 300 of the fabrics and each fabric shall be sub divided into pieces of three yards, so that 600 supporters in each Section in the Division should have a party uniform to participate at yesterday’s National Day feast.

Prof Fuh Calistus also donated the sum of 300,000 FCFA, to each of the five Sections, money meant for entertainment after yesterday’s march past.

It should be noted that Prof Fuh Calistus has always mobilised CPDM supporters in Donga Mantung Division to participate in all national events; be they Youth Day, Women Day or National Day. He has also always rallied CPDM adherents to celebrate the party’s anniversary and also the anniversary of President Paul Biya’s ascension to the Supreme Magistracy.

He has also been carrying out actions that help to boost peace and social cohesion in Donga Mantung in particular, the North West Region in general and the nation at large.

Meanwhile, a scholarship scheme initiated by Prof Fuh Calistus has been promoting effective schooling and academic excellence in Donga Mantung Division.

As the nation gears up for this year’s presidential election, the man widely considered as the main financier of CPDM activities in Donga Mantung and CPDM-support mobiliser in the Division, Prof Fuh Calistus, is said to be making moves to secure a 100% victory for the CPDM candidate.
