The minister underscored “the need to put interest in school infrastructure”, explaining that it is critical in the National Development Strategy, SNDO 2020-2030 of the government.

She pledged CERAC’s commitment to continue support the vulnerable nationwide. Ketcha Courtès said CERAC is an association that remains sensitive to the plight of the population.

Government Nursery and Primary School Djeleng V, she said, is situated at the heart of the West Region and had become an eyesore. The donation from CERAC, she added, marks a turning point for the people of Djeleng.

She thanked the population for being witnesses to the works of the First Lady Chantal Biya before thanking the Governor of the West Region for always being available.

Minister Ketcha Courtès also thanked the partners of CERAC for their valuable contribution and for ensuring that the project was a success.

She urged pupils and the teachers to make good use of the classrooms and office. She told rural women and youth to continue to work hard for the development of Djeleng V and the West Region as a whole.
