CNPS launches digital assistance service, Allô CNPS, to boost services.

The National Social Insurance Fund, NSIF, popularly known by its French abbreviation CNPS, has launched a digital assistance service dubbed Allô CNPS.

The digital service is meant to improve its services, customer experience and ease access to information.



It was developed in collaboration with CNPS partner Securys Group. 

It has as aim to simplify the user experience of clients by diversifying mediums through which clients can access basic information on CNPS services and file in complaints.

The service, CNPS officials said, is available through the through the hotline number 8383 or WhatsApp with the help of a Chatbot service.

According to CNPS, special agents are available and connected to assist users, stay informed about their contributions and their files at CNPS. The institution added that SMS alerts will also be available for the same purpose.

Through the digital service, officials said CNPS clients can benefit from personalised support from qualified CNPS agents by asking questions about their contributions, entitlements, pensions among others.

Clients, they said, can also follow up their files digitally from the comfort of their homes or workplaces, without the stress of travelling or being displaced. According to CNPS, calling the hotline number cost FCFA 198 per minute.

 

WhatsApp Chatbot service

CNPS disclosed that through the WhatsApp Chatbot service, clients can check their CNPS contribution history, check the number of months of contributions paid and the number of months remaining to be paid. Clients, officials also said, have access to information relating to CNPS procedures.

Through the Chatbot, officials indicated that CNPS agents are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to inquiries. 

The service also makes it possible to send and receive CNPS documents remotely as well as discreetly report acts of corruption or other prejudices.

 

Monthly SMS alerts

With the monthly Short Message Service, SMS alerts, CNPS, said customers will receive monthly messages about the situation of their contributions. 

They will also receive reminders when contributions are due for employers and voluntary policyholders and receive alerts when pensioners’ dues have been paid into their bank accounts.

To have access to the monthly SMS alerts, CNPS clients are urged to subscribe by dialing the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data, USSD code *101#, with either Orange or MTN network service providers.

CNPS clients and potential subscribers have the option to choose between 750 FCFA per month or 9,000 FCFA per year. 

According to CNPS, Allô CNPS is proof that the institution remains committed and dedicated to the continuously deliver efficient services to clients and partners.
