CCA Bank succors orphans in four regions to boost inclusive dev’t.

Goodies from CCA Bank were distributed to beneficiary orphanages in  Bafoussam, in the West Region; Maroua in the Far North Region, Douala in the Littoral Region and Yaounde in the Centre Region.

In Maroua, the CCA Bank team was at the Oasis du Sahel Orphanage. The Director of CCA Bank North Pole, Hassoumi Farikou, led the team in the humanitarian exercise.

Meanwhile, in Bafoussam, a consignment of donation was handed to kids at the Maison d’Accueil, Dedicace et Peotection des Enfants Orphanage. The lap was under the leadership of the Director CCA West Pole, Caroline Nguetchuissi

At the level of the Centre Region, it was the Deputy Director General of CCA Bank, Mefoitie Tiwoda Al Vine, who led staff members.

They were at the Centre D’Accueil Mamam Monique Orphanage in Ebol Dzom in the Mefou and Afamba Division.

Still within the context of the same donation, staff of the leading financial institution were at the New Destiny orphanage, in Douala.

CCA Bank Head of Judicial Affairs, Diane Kouakam, represented the Director General, DG, of CCA Bank, Margaret Fonkwen Atanga, at the event.

Across the different stops, the items put at the disposal of orphans comprised; didactics, gas cylinders, beds, mattresses, pillows, toiletries, soap, detergent, cooking oil, bags of rice, baking flour, soft drinks and several others. 

Besides the material gifts, the financial institution also promised to provide some the centres with potable water.

The Deputy Director General of CCA Bank asked officials of the D’Accueil Mamam Monique Orphanage in Ebol Dzom to provide the financial institution details of what it takes for it to have water.

CCA Bank at heart of social wellbeing, sustainable dev’t promotion

The Deputy Director General of CCA Bank disclosed that the donations were a compilation of gestures from its staff. She said it is part of CCA Bank’s determination to promote social wellbeing and promote sustainable development.

Tiwoda Al Vine said the initiative which is anchored on the structure’s charity program dubbed: “CCA Charity”. 

The Deputy DG said they are bent on ensuring the bank drives change beyond the number of enterprises and industries it deals with to relate with the vulnerable.

She said thorough checks had been done to ensure the offers made reach orphans who are in need.

“The CCA Bank is via this program, among other things, focusing on providing assistance to the children because everyone has a right to life,” Tiwoda Al Vine said, adding that, “we were very particularly touched by the number, youthfulness, naivety and innocence of the children”.

CCA Bank promoting equal opportunities

According to the Deputy Director General, CCA Bank, through its position as a people-oriented financial institution strongly believes in a society built on equal opportunities. 

“The CCA Bank is not only encouraging the development of enterprises and industries. We are equally there to provide support for the education of those who are excluded from the society and to assist those who do not have access to healthcare and a host of other social needs,” Tiwoda Al Vine intimated.

She insisted that CCA is “fighting poverty by notably focusing on eradicating unemployment. We want a society where equality is really seen and felt”.

Success not only in figures but lives touched 

CCA Bank Head of Judicial Affairs, on her part, told beneficiaries at the Douala lap of the exercise that beyond profit in figures, CCA Bank is also interested in the number of lives it actually improves on. 

Kouakam declared that every child carries dreams, wealth and possibilities, reason CCA Bank is working to play its part by empowering children.

The CCA Bank Head of Judicial Affairs added that what they did was offering love to the orphans. Through such activities, she said it gives beneficiaries a sense of belonging. 

Kouakam emphasised that the children “are an inspiration, and those taking care of them”. She declared the firm resolve of CCA Bank to ensure the orphans achieve their dreams.

Orphanages say CCA Bank move timely, life-changing 

Officials of beneficiary orphanages thanked CCA Bank management, insisting that the donations are timely and life-changing.

The Founder of D’Accueil Mamam Monique Orphanage, Edoa Monique Solange, said the donations are a relief. She said the gesture of CCA Bank will forever be remembered.

Edoa remarked that: “I want to thank the God Almighty for what this bank has done. The bank has not only given a fresh energy to this orphanage but very importantly put smiles on the faces of these children”.

With the school year just beginning, Edoa said the didactics which form part of the consignment will address the challenges some of the orphans faced in relation to having basics.

She also cited other challenges which she said the goods offered them will greatly solve.

For Pastor Ndzana Solange of Global Frontier Church who is also Founder of New Destiny orphanage, CCA Bank has become a solution to their scheme of “one child, one sponsor”. 

Ndzana saluted the growth CCA Bank has made in recent years and prayed just like Edoa for God to continue to bless it as it works also in the interest of the vulnerable.
