For promoting quality education, sports: North West youth parliamentarians award Senator Nebah Bridget.

The Senator for Mezam Division in the North West Region, Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri Ndoye, has been awarded by the North West Youth Parliamentary Network.
Members of the network handed the meritorious award certificate to the senator Friday September 6 in Bamenda.

This during the occasion of year’s edition of Senator Prof Nebah Bridget’s Academic Excellence award, where she handed cash rewards to students from Mezam, who excelled at the 2024 session of GCE Advanced and Ordinary levels and also didactics to pupils.

The North West Youth Parliamentary Network awarded the senator for her “continuous strides in promoting sustainable Development Goal number 4 on Quality Education for children and Youths of the North West".

The youth MPs were emphatic that her support, since the first edition of the Academic Excellence Award in 2023, has empowered more children not only to be in school but to study very hard to emerge on honours roll.

Led by their coordinator, Hon Etoh Anzah Herbert, the young MPs encouraged the senator not to relent in her quest to promote quality inclusive education for all.

The young persons expressed gratitude to Senator Prof Nebah Bridget for financial and material support they received from her during the just ended North West Youth and Sports Jamboree, during which Mezam Division won prizes in several disciplines.

One of the trophies and a traditional cap and bag were presented to the Senator. This, as a symbol for her to look for more resources to empower the youth.

With her characteristic smiles, Senator Prof Nebah Bridget Ndosiri Ndoye thanked the youth MPs for such a wonderful initiative, taking the commitment to always stand by the youth in their quest for empowerment.

The young MPs witnessed with much joy and delight as over 50 young persons received cash gifts for their outstanding results at the 2024 GCE.

It should be recalled that when Senator Prof Nebah Bridget took office as Senator, she had dedicated her mandate to the empowerment of the youth, both in education and other spheres of life. She has been living up to this billing through her annual Academic Excellence Award.

The senator, who herself is an academic and a university don, has no doubt been having accolades from across the board for her efforts in promoting academic excellence.
