For regular payment of indemnities, benefits…: Zenithe crowned best insurance company.

Zenithe, customer-friendly and one of the fastest-growing insurance companies in the country, has been crowned best insurance company in Cameroon. 

The insurance company bagged the Best Insurance Company Award Thursday July 25. 



This was during the maiden award night of Cameroon English Language Newspaper Publishers Association, CENPA. The award night took at Yaounde Hilton Hotel.

CENPA, it should be noted, is a grouping of 35 English language newspaper publishers in Cameroon. It was created with the main objectives being to promote national unity, peace reporting and responsible journalism.

The award night was held under the distinguished patronage of the Minister of Communication, and was attended by top government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, political, religious, civil society and traditional authorities, among others.

The award jury was led by Barrister Akere Muna (President), Senator Ekoko Mukete Ekoko IV (Secretary), Esther Omam (Member) and Kristian Ngah Christian (CENPA President).

Zenithe Insurance won the Best Insurance Company Award “For its originality in insurance services offered Cameroonians and regular payment of benefits to clients through proximity options”.   

It should be noted that Zenithe Insurance has revolutionised and is ensuring timely payment of indemnities to its clients and offering attractive services to its clientele.

 

Innovating for better services

Zenithe Insurance was represented at the award ceremony by its Director Delegate, Bikundi Rita O’lynok. 

Speaking to the press after receiving the award, Bikundi said the award was an honour for the company.

“It is succession of efforts from the Board Chairman and from the employees to succeed to have this award today,” she said.

As to what makes the insurance company different from others, Bikundi said: “Zenithe has many differences from other insurance companies. Apart from the fact that we are all selling the same products, we are putting emphasis on innovation of products, innovation of services and new services”.

“Services like the digital system we have put in place since several years and it’s operational and a client can easily go to our website and subscribe and get their insurance products from the website where the person is. When you subscribe, you will pay through the same website…Zenithe insurance, I can say, is completely digitalized,” she disclosed. 

Digitalised services

It should be noted that in 2017 Zenithe launched a process of digitalisation of its services. It has made many improvements to its website to facilitate the online underwriting process of various solutions including travel insurance, bid bond and Professional Liability. 

For solutions such as transportation insurance, it is possible to request a quote online and obtain it within 24 hours. The company is also present on different social networks in order to be reactive to the requests of others.

 

Processes insurance claims promptly 

In order to better service its clients, Zenithe also makes it a point of honour to process insurance claims promptly. For this purpose, the company has developed an Online Insurance interface through which its policyholders can declare a claim and follow it from its website”.

Zenithe also stands out from other insurance companies because many of its services have been dematerialised. For example, it is possible to pay insurance with Zenith online without any additional cost, and to have the contract delivered free of charge to the address the client provides.

 

Avalanche of reasons for winning the award

Apart from its timely payment of indemnities, there are several other attractions at Zenithe that caused the institution to clinch the award. This includes the fact that Zenithe Insurance is an ISO 9001 2015 certified company. Zenithe Insurance has been involved in a quality approach since 2011, thus it is an ISO 9001 2015 certified company. This is a standard establishing the requirements for a quality management system and allows the company to gain in efficiency and increase the satisfaction of each customer.
