Installing the new Limbe Central Police boss, reminded him of the security challenges of the region, urging him to add efforts to bury the ghost town syndrome.

The new boss of the Limbe Central Police Station has been tasked to uphold the ethics of the police corps to ensure peace and tranquility and protect those in the city. Nyebe Simon Jean Pierre took command, Monday, March 5, 2021, during a ceremony chaired by the South West Regional Delegate for National Security, Dinga Jean Marie.

Superintendent of Police, Nyebe Simon Jean Pierre, replaces Superintendent Ndo Martial Aristide, now Superintendent of Police for Douala III Central Police Station in Bonaberi. Dinga Jean Marie, while installing the new Limbe Central Police boss, reminded him of the security challenges of the region, urging him to add efforts to bury the ghost town syndrome as well as battle terrorists in the region.

Equally, he was urged to ensure the absolute protection of the people of Limbe and their properties; work closely with the people to make his actions on the ground effective as well as to avoid unnecessary abuse of power. Nyebe was also advised to fully collaborate with all active forces in the city to make his mission successful.
