For breaching ethics: Minister slams three-month suspension on Menoua trade delegate.

According to the Ministerial decision, the staff is said to have breached profession ethics in line with Presidential decree no. 94/199 of October 07, 1994 on the General Statute of the State Civil Service, amended and supplemented by decree no. 2000/287 of October 12, 2000. 

“In application of the provisions of articles 108 and 109 of the aforementioned Decree no. 94/199 of October 07, 1994, Mr. Dongue Alain Bertrand, registration number 692 477-A, on duty at the Menoua Divisional Trade Delegation, is, as of the date of signature of this decision, suspended from his duties for a period of three months, for serious breaches of ethics and professional obligations” the ministerial decision read. 

The suspension also aligned with decree no. 2011/408 of December 09, 2011 on the organisation of the Government, amended and supplemented by decree no. 2018/190 of March 02, 2018. 

In addition, Minister Mbarga Atangana specified that during the period of the suspension, the divisional delegate will cease to report to his duty post.

Dongue will also be deprived of his salary and any benefits related to his function, with the exception pf his family allowances.
