Centre Region: Road accident claims lives of assistant DO, husband.

A road accident, which occurred early in the morning of June 16, on the Mbalmayo-Sangmelima Road in the Centre Region, is reported to have claimed the lives of the Assistant Divisional Officer of Nkolmetet Subdivision, Judith Ngo Baleba, and her husband, a customs officer, Alain Michel Bakuyak.

It is reported that the couple was riding their motorbike when a truck carrying planks lost control and collided with them, resulting in instant fatalities.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m., leaving the community in shock and mourning. The victims' bodies were transported to the Mbalmayo Hospital morgue.

The Assistant DO and her husband were a well-known and respected couple in the community, and their sudden loss has sent shockwaves through the region.

The community is still reeling from the tragic news, as friends and family struggle to come to terms with the loss of two beloved individuals.
