South region: Beneficiaries hail impact of Japanese-sponsored projects.

Some beneficiaries of projects sponsored by the Japanese government in the Ocean Division, South region have praised the impact of the ventures in improving their livelihoods. Beneficiaries assessed impact of the projects on their livelihood Friday March 26. This was during an evaluation mission carried out by officials of the Japanese Embassy in Cameroon. The delegation was led by , Egawa Shumpei, head of the Finance, Economy Cooperation of the diplomatic service.

While in the village of Mpalla, a community in the outskirts of Kribi, a project on the integrated breeding of piglets was evaluated. The 11 million FCFA project is being implemented by the Kribi Catholic Diocese.

According to the President of the Kribi Diocese Committee for Socio-Charitable Activities, Daniel Jonathan Mba Ngobo, the said amount offered to them in 2019 been used for the construction of a centre where the training can take place.
