To satisfy teeming clients: Afriland First Bank opens second branch in Bertoua.

Leading indigenous commercial bank, Afriland First Bank, has, in line with its vision of taking services closer to its ever-growing clients, opened a second branch in the town of Bertoua, in the East Region. 
The branch, located at the Bertoua Central Market in front of former Pharmacie Galien, was inaugurated recently.
The Governor of the East Region, Gregoire Mvongo, local administrative and municipal authorities, attended the event.  



Key economic operators also witnessed the inauguration of the second branch of the leading commercial bank in Cameroon, in the East Regional capital.
During the ceremony, officials of Afriland First Bank disclosed that in the last 10 years, the Bank has injected at least 500 billion FCFA into the economy of Bertoua.
According to Herve Ayissi, Director of Retail Banking and Network at Afriland First Bank, the commercial bank has special interest in enhancing the development of the East Region.
He told the audience during the inauguration that: “We came to Bertoua to contribute to the development of the East Region. This has been through financing and the building of trust between the population and Afriland First Bank”.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, an economic operator in the East Region, Alexis Kontieu, saluted the quality of services that Afriland First Bank has been offering the population. 
He stated that just like the name of the bank, the services of Afriland First Bank are topnotch. 
The businessman cited an instance wherein he visited one of the branches of the Bank in Bertoua, to establish an attestation of ownership of an account. He said he was attended to within minutes.
Another customer, Ismaila Njukumbe, said Afriland First Bank has overtaken other banks that expanded to the East Region, thanks to the uniqueness of its services. 
Ismaila said the rush for the Bank’s services is no surprise to anyone in the East Region.
The Director General, DG, of the private company, SOUANEC, Haman Ahmadou, used the inauguration ceremony to testify of Afriland First Bank’s contribution to his company’s growth. 
Haman said, at first, they started selling building materials and then food items and expanded to other areas, thanks to financing from Afriland First Bank.
“I first visited Afriland First Bank for inquiries. I visited the Bank in search of the best services. I found at Afriland First Bank the best services. Thanks to the Bank, I expanded my business,” Haman narrated.
To note that Afriland First Bank remains the best in Cameroon, with a network of branches totaling 80 nationwide. 
The Banks has continued its aggressive expansion and marketing alongside the use of innovative digital technology, to meet the need of its teeming clientele.
