The Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, has felicitated the General Manager of the Cameroon Telecommunications, CAMTEL, Judith Yah Sunday Epse Achidi, for her efforts invested in the transformation of the State-run corporation.

The veteran diplomat and influential staff of the Presidency, gave Judith Yah Sunday the deserving pat on the back during his visit to the stand of CAMTEL at the just ended International Exhibition for Enterprises, SMEs, and Partnerships of Yaounde, PROMOTE.

The Presidency scribe was guest of honour at the stand of CAMTEL, Friday February 23. CAMTEL, it should be said, was one of the privileged stands Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh chose to visit,l while at the PROMOTE village.

Visibly marveled by Judith Yah Sunday’s prowess as she walked him through CAMTEL’s network infrastructure map, Ngoh Ngoh did not mince words.

The visiting Presidency SG told the CAMTEL GM: “Congratulations Madam the General Manager, your stand is wonderful and your work is very well appreciated”.

The visit of the Presidency SG was brief, yet symbolically remarkable.

CAMTEL, it should be mentioned, was one of the companies which stands were visited by the Minister of State.

During the visit, Judith Yah Sunday, who acted as guide to Ngoh Ngoh and his delegation, edified her august guests on the company's current projects, its new offers and operations amongst others.

Proud of the visit, the CAMTEL General Manager didn't hold back her emotions.

In an outing on social media shortly after the visit of the Presidency SG, Judith Yah Sunday wrote: "A distinguished guest at CAMTEL's VIP stand at PROMOTE. It was a great honor for me to receive this afternoon the Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Cameroon".

According to the Head of the Corporate and Digital Communication Division at CAMTEL, Eric Benjamin Lamere, the “company's presence at PROMOTE is largely justified because CAMTEL in the sector is the digital hub in Central Africa”.

“PROMOTE is the largest business fair in the Subregion... so it's in line with our core business, which is to connect countries, companies and citizens. Our presence is fully justified...it's an opportunity for us to show not only nationals but also foreigners who are arriving, all the expertise we have in electronic communication," he explained.

Speaking to reporters at the start of the fair, Lamere had explained that: "We have solutions for mobile through the BLUE brand, we have solutions for fixed through fiber optics, we have solutions for transport…,we have an extraordinary solution for administrations, companies, both public and private, which is CAMTEL's Data Centre in Zamengoue, which offers companies, as I said earlier, extraordinary capacities in terms of storage, hosting and availability, to be able to deploy in a world in full transformation, and to enable our economies to really tie in with the digital transformation we talk so much about".
