Cameroon’s leading cement producing company, Dangote Cement Cameroon, has assured its clients and the general population of the high quality of its products.

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Dangote Cement Cameroon, Bertrand Mbouck, gave the assurance while at the company’s stand at the ongoing Yaounde International Trade Fair for SMEs and Partnerships, dubbed PROMOTE.

PROMOTE 2024 is holding at the Yaounde Conference Centre.

The company’s stand, since the start of the fair, has attracted several hundreds of visitors and stakeholders seeking to forge business collaboration.

Addressing the press, the CEO said their presence at the fair is to pass across a message of assurance of the quality, availability and affordability of its different products, despite the various constraints facing the industry.

Resolute to its mission of transforming Africa, the CEO said the company is maintaining the high quality of its products, even when faced with inflation in the cost of raw materials.

“Despite the changes in the cost of raw materials, we have taken measures not to allow consumers feel the effect of inflation on our primary raw materials. It is a message of citizen enterprise and social responsibility,” Mbouck told the press.

He added that: “We want to reaffirm and reassure the population and the different trade bodies of our premium products, which are Dangote 3X Cement and Dangote Falcon Cement”.

In 2023, Cameroon witnessed a series of building collapse, especially in the cities of Douala and Ngaoundere, with several lives lost and properties destroyed. Urban development experts had attributed some of these incidents to the quality of construction materials used.

The CEO assured that Dangote Cement Cameroon products are of high quality and global standing and urged the public to carry out construction works in tranquillity by using her products.

“It is a message of professionalism, support and pride that we are sending across through our products,” he added.

In addition, the Dangote Cement Cameroon boss noted that their presence at PROMOTE is also to pass across a message of her contribution to the industrial and commercial fabrics at the national and Subregional levels.
