United Kingdom, UK-based Cameroonian influencer, author and humanitarian, Delly Singah, has been designated Goodwill Ambassador of the people of Ngie in the Diaspora.

The socialite cum philanthropist was crowned Goodwill Ambassador by the people of Ngie in Momo Division of the North West Region, her place of origin.

She received the honour from members of the Yaounde chapter of the Ngie Cultural and Development Association, NCDA.

Delly Singah was singled out for her humanitarian works and for being a bright light amongst the contemporaries. She was crowned by the President of the Ngie community in Yaounde.

This was during colourful traditional ceremony organised in the capital city. The crowning ceremony came a day after Delly Singah had launched her long-anticipated book titled: “I Do! I Don’t”.

In an acceptance speech delivered during the ceremony, Delly Singah thanked the people of Ngie for the recognition.

Delly said she was both humbled and encouraged to have been named Goodwill Ambassador of the Ngie people in the diaspora.

“There is no greater honour than the one that comes from your own people. I have had so many honours from people I can consider as outsiders, people I don’t know…but little did I know that my own people have been following my activities and mobilising to honour me,” Delly Singah told this reporter.

She submitted that: “It was a huge surprise to me. Not only did they come powerfully at the book launch in sound and dance, they also went a step ahead to dress me in a traditional regalia and crowned me the Goodwill Ambassador for the Ngie people in the diaspora”.

“I am still short of words. This recognition ranks higher to me,” she added.

Prior to receiving the distinction from the people of Ngie, Delly Singah had on Saturday January 6, publicly launched her book. The book which was launched in Yaounde, is inspired by a decade of counselling experience and godly wisdom.

The book, “I Do! I Don't!”, is a revolutionary book that shows singles how to make emotionally intelligent relationship decisions and couples how to keep their relationship on track.

The publication dissects the journey into matrimony, overlaying it with fundamental guiding principles that each person must follow before saying I Do! or I Don't!
