Star Building: PM receives New Year wishes from collaborators, staff of affiliated structures.

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute, has received New Year wishes from his immediate collaborators and staff of thirteen structures placed under his control. 




This was during a ceremony at the esplanade of the Star Building on Tuesday January 9.
Before senior officials of the Prime Minister’s Office started presenting their best wishes for 2024 to the Head of Government, a garland of flower had been handed to Dion Ngute. 
The gift was a collective show of the unity and commitment of the Prime Minister’s collaborators and staff of related structructures to better serve the country in 2024.
The first collaborator of the Prime Minister who set the tone for the ritual was the Minister, Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s Office, Prof Seraphine Magloire Fouda. 
Next was the Minister, Deputy Secretary General at the Prime Minister’s Office, Prof Pascal Nguihe Kante. This was followed by wishes from the staff of the General Secretariat of the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister’s Office, Balungeli Ebune Confiance, led staff of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet for the same declaration of ‘Happy New Year Mr Prime Minister’.
Persons who followed next were heads and staff of structures placed under the control of the Prime Minister’s Office. 
These are; the National Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration Committee, NDDRC. The National Coordinator of the NDDRC, Fai Yengo Francis, was head of the delegation that wished the Prime Minister well.
It was the same for Joseph Chebonkeng Kalabubse who did so for the National Communication Council, NCC. 
Other structures whose officials and staff answered present were; the National  Road  Board, the Regulatory and Competitiveness Board, the  Cameroon Human Rights Commission, CHRC, the National  Decentralisation Board, the National Board for the Approval of School  Textbooks and Teaching Materials.

Other structures whose officials and staff also wished the Prime Minister well for the new year during Tuesday’s event were; Coordinators and staff of the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the North West and South West Regions, PPRD-NW/SW; the  Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the Far North Region, PPRDFR.
Staff of the security, Special Report Brigade and the Protocol service were among the last to also present their wishes for 2024 to the Star Building occupant. 
The Prime Minister later had banquet with all the staff and officials who answered present at the ceremony.
To note that, Tuesday’s ceremony came after the Prime Minister, Head of Government, had joined the diplomatic community in Yaounde and other national dignitaries to extend wishes to the Head of State, Paul Biya. This was on Friday January 5.
